Fiddles, folklore and food

On Friday 15 May, 7–9pm, the John Gray Centre in Haddington will host the adults-only event Fiddles, Folklore and Food, featuring organic food from The Howff and beer-tasting with Growler Beers UK. Visitors will enjoy traditional musical performances by local folk band Curmudgeon and Mod-winning Gaelic singer Renate Gertz. They will also meet some jaunty fishwives (DragonFlower re-enactors) to learn about the county’s coastal history and attend a folklore-themed mini-mask or puppet-making workshop. Entry cost is £5 per person, food and drink not included.
