Puppet animation festival at The John Gray Centre, Haddington


‘Celeste’s Circus’ by Faux Theatre – a puppet performance.
Celeste invites you to applaud a high-wire hippo, a crafty cat and an endearing seal performing for paper fish. A beautifully made puppet show enchantingly performed and specifically designed for babies and younger children. Running time: 35 minutes.

Puppet-making drop-in workshop for families, with Abby Ingham
Make a selection of shadow puppets to bring bedtime stories to life! Choose from a selection of templates or design you own. If you prefer, spend time creating a bigger puppet and decide whether it is a princess or a monster. Design clothes or add weapons. The choice is yours!

Come along and join the Puppet-Stew crew for some creative school holiday fun. During the workshop you will make your very own rod puppet, which you can then take home with you. Hours of imaginative play lie ahead, as you make up stories, songs and scenarios with your fabulous new puppet. Puppet-Stew has been running its successful and enjoyable puppet making workshops throughout the UK for the past twelve years, encouraging children and adults of all ages and abilities to make amazing creations!
