All change in Musselburgh library!

It may take a wee while for our readers to get used to it, but we're loving the new lay-out in Musselburgh library! The very large desk is no more!  We now have a self service point, an enquiry desk and a smaller service desk.  You can use self service to issue, return or renew books and staff are on hand to familiarise you with this.  We will shortly have another self service point added which will accept payment for fines and reservations. Our enquiry desk provides more privacy and space for new members joining the library, travel pass applications, requests and any other enquiry you may have. Our small service desk is where you can pay for and collect printing or photocopying, borrow DVDs or you would prefer to deal direct with a member of staff. Removing the large desk we had has opened up the space and helped improve accessibility for those with impaired vision or mobility.  Library staff are now more available to help you choose books, use the PCs and answer enquiries.
